During the last weekend of May, Europe’s largest jazz festival will once again welcome you to Brussels. The sixth edition of Brussels Jazz Weekend puts the spotlight on Toots Thielemans: the ‘ket’ from Brussels and jazz legend would have turned 100 this year.

Matteo Di Leonardo trio is born in Brussels in 2021. Composed by guitarist Matteo Di Leonardo, double bass player Emanuel Van Mieghem and drummer Umberto Odone, the band proposes a sound journey of modern jazz with original compositions and standards through the use of strong melodic lines surrounded by wide harmonious landscapes. For this occasion the trio will also pay tribute to Toots Thielemans with some tunes of the Belgian Master carefully arranged for jazz guitar trio. A sound journey not to be missed !
